My name is Cheryl. Recently, I successfully got into college after two years of living a very difficult life. After everything was said and done, I came to find out that this years student enrollment doubled from last year, and consequently, every dollar of state grant money is GONE. Yes...Gone. Loans don't cover much, especially for an unemployed college student who has about $40 bucks to her name at the end of the month. I've been barely making ends meat by doing odd jobs through friends.
After months of job searching, I came to the cold realization that if no one was going to give me the opportunities I needed to survive, I was going to have to create my own.
Over the years I've accumulated a diverse amount of artistic skill. At the moment, I can crotchet, paint, draw, photograph, assemble jewelry, bake, cook, create graphic art (usually with photoshop), sew, tattoo and make candles.
I came across etsy while browsing Deviantart.com. (autonomousink.deviantart.com is my account).Why not make a living out of my hobbies? That's a fantastic idea!

I am using the money made from this, to pay for college and rent. I rather like having an education and, even more, a warm house to sleep in.
